Alliances are a way for players to formally group together and coordinate within the game world. From a gameplay perspective, being part of an alliance does not impose any obligations or restrictions on a player. Instead, alliances are primarily used to establish and display relationships between groups of players, which are reflected in the user interface and on the world map.
It is important to note that membership in an alliance does not directly affect gameplay mechanics.
An alliance is created by a player who automatically becomes its leader. The leader can invite new players and remove existing players from the alliance, as long as there are no players in the alliance who own a colony containing an Ark. An alliance can have up to 100 players.
If the alliance leader leaves the alliance, administrative rights are automatically transferred to the next player. The leader may also manually transfer their role to another alliance member at any time. If the leader leaves an empty alliance, the alliance gets automatically destroyed.
A player can join an alliance only by receiving an invitation from the alliance leader and only if they are not already a member of another alliance. Any player may leave an alliance at any time.
There are four types of relationships between all alliances on a game server:
An alliance leader may propose an Alliance or a Non-Aggression Pact to another alliance. These agreements take effect only after being accepted by the other alliance. Any alliance leaders may cancel the aggreement unilaterally at any time.
War, unlike agreements, is declared and ended unilaterally. This means that one alliance may consider itself at war with another alliance even if the opposing alliance has not declared war in return.
Each alliance has a profile that includes a name, description, and image. These settings are configured by the alliance leader and are validated using the same rules as a player’s description and avatar.
First, you must have an existing alliance with more than one player. Next, you'll need to prepare a detailed description of your alliance. To make this easier, we've prepared a set of questions. Answering the questions will help you create a good description for your alliance. Once your description is ready, you need either to register on this website and create a new page for your alliance or contact the developers on Discord to have them create the page for you.
Once the page is ready and all the content is added, all you need is to add the link to the page you just created to the list above.
